ON-SITE JOB SEEKER SERVICES

Job Service Resource Room Hours:                                                                                                                                 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.   Wednesday 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.                         

Job Listings - We have touch screen computers for people who are not computer literate to access the JobNet. Other services include computers with internet connections, local papers and shoppers, state and county job listings and signs about employers who are hiring.

Job Search Resources - We have computers with software tutorials for typing and resume building, fax machines, phones, printers and copiers all available for job search. There are videos, books and pamphlets to assist. Professionals are available to assist with resume development.

Workshops - We provide workshops to assist in job preparation and search.

Assessments & Testing - We offer career inventories, academic, aptitude and interest testing as well as typing tests.

Recruiting events - Area employers use the Job Center to provide on-site interviewing as needed. This is often advertised in the paper and/or at the Job Center.
